🌸 Watercolor Workshop: Painting a Meaningful Bouquet
Join us for a beautiful morning of creativity and connection as we explore the art of watercolor florals through the language of flowers! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to paint a bouquet that not only delights the eye but also tells a personal story using Victorian floriography—the art of assigning meaning to flowers.
We’ll begin by reviewing the shapes and techniques for painting different types of flowers. You’ll receive a practice worksheet to master the blooms you choose and a reference handout to guide you as you work. Then, using your selected flowers and their symbolic meanings, you’ll compose and paint your own framed floral bouquet as your final piece.
Each participant will receive a class kit that includes:
🎨 Six handmade watercolor half pans in Mayan Red, Mango Mica, Hansa Yellow, Grasshopper Mica, Azure, and Brilliant Violet
🖌️ A round paintbrush, a water-fillable brush, and a pencil
Light refreshments will be served as we paint and enjoy a creative, relaxing morning together.
